Versus Law Ltd is the data controller for the personal information you submit through welovehouses.co.uk. Contact: hello@welovehouses.co.uk.

2. What we collect

Name, email, phone number, postcode, property details (purchase price, deposit, property type), the type of enquiry (mortgage or conveyancing), and technical information such as your IP address, user agent, referrer, and marketing attribution parameters (utm_source, gclid, fbclid, etc.).

3. Why we collect it

To let Versus Law's mortgage or conveyancing team prepare a personalised quote and contact you (lawful basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in operating a mortgage and conveyancing introduction service). If you subsequently instruct Versus Law, we also process your data to perform that contract and to meet our regulatory obligations (AML, source-of-funds, client due diligence).

4. Who we share it with

Internally within Versus Law's mortgage and conveyancing teams. Where relevant, with mortgage lenders you apply to, HM Land Registry, HMRC (SDLT), and search providers instructed on your matter. We do not sell your data. Attribution data may be shared with the ad networks that referred you (Meta, Google) via their standard pixel / conversion APIs.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for 24 months. Where you instruct us on a matter, file retention follows SRA and FCA requirements — typically 6 years for mortgage advice files and up to 15 years for conveyancing files, after which records are deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@welovehouses.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use first-party cookies to remember your session and third-party pixels (Meta, Google) to measure ad performance. You can opt out via your browser or the cookie banner.
